I’m Thibault Simonetto, a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computer Science at the University of Luxembourg, specializing in software engineering and AI security.

My work focuses on making machine learning systems more robust, reliable, and production-ready. Over the past five years, I’ve worked at SnT, University of Luxembourg in collaboration with BGL BNP Paribas to develop methods to test and stengthen AI resilience against adversarial attacks and concept drift.

I now participate to the AI Factory national initivative by developping A4S, a platform to evaluate AI trustworthiness in a controlled environment - always with an eye toward real-world deployment and regulatory alignment, such as the EU AI Act. My previous research is integrated in the platform as metrics to evaluate AI models.

I’m passionate about bridging research and industry—turning cutting-edge ideas into scalable, secure, and impactful AI solutions. I’m currently seeking opportunities as a Machine Learning Engineer to continue building AI systems that work reliably in the real world.
